Washington, D.C. – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small business owners, is endorsing Bob Dold for re-election. As a small business owner, Dold recognizes the importance of supporting legislation that would help small businesses grow and create more jobs in the 10th District and across the country.
“Bob Dold stands with small business owners in Illinois and deserves to be re-elected,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He has been working to reduce red tape, lower health insurance costs, and provide tax relief for small businesses. The NFIB is proud to endorse a small business owner who knows what needs to be done to encourage growth and prosperity.”
“As the only small business owner in this race, I know how critical the small business community is to the economic health of our nation,” said Dold. “Small businesses are the driver of job growth, cutting-edge innovation, and local development. I’m honored to have the endorsement of NFIB for my record of supporting small business and I will continue to be a champion in the next Congress.”
Dold’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee. Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities.
